Sixth Newsletter of the DETOCS Project
We are delighted to share with you the sixth edition of the DETOCS project newsletter!
This edition highlights regional improvements implemented in each participating country in the project, good practices from different partner regions on sustainable and low-carbon tourism development, as well as the 6th interregional study visit organised in Burgas, Bulgaria, where partners and local stakeholders met to share insights, present examples of good practices and exchange experiences. Discussions focused on effective policy measures supporting energy efficiency, renewable energy solutions and community-driven models for decarbonising the tourism sector.
In addition, the newsletter presents regional policy improvements identified by partner regions, ranging from strengthened stakeholder engagement and policy tools to digital and virtual tourism initiatives. A special feature of this issue is the newly released Joint Thematic Guidebook, which offers practical and adaptable solutions that support regions in advancing low-carbon strategies tailored to their specific contexts.
